DAS Smurf Scan. I attempted to 3D scan a DAS Smurf Maker in the attempt to make a Smurf. Clay, laser light; same difference. This is a work in progress.

I designed and produced a Bert cookie cutter using the 3D printing skills of my friend Ed Hebel over at Free Thought Designs. I had a small Bert cutter which I used as inspiration, and as funny as it is to look at, it isn’t a particularly good likeness of the Muppet. Some time in Illustrator and help from Ed and you can see the result. Beneath the cutter is my impression of what the cookies should look like piping hot, right out of the oven. You will have to wait for the Up and to the Right art show this summer to see the results!
